I am setting up Merge replication with one subscriber that will only be merged one time daily. What is recommended to setup a backup and restore for the publisher, distributor and subscriber? Also would it be necessary to have the Piblisher, distributor and subscriber off line during the backup? |

Replication shouldn't affect backup schedule, and don't have to stop replication to make backup. |

If it is necessary to restore the Publisher database. How do you get the subscriber in synch with the publisher? If the publisher will have changes applied to the published tables regularly. What is the best way to apply changes to published tables? |

Depends on one-way or two-way replication. For change, do you mean schema change or data change? |
