Morning all,I have a database that is currently replicated (this was setup before i started) using merge replication from serverA to serverB where serverA is a production box and ServerB is a backup. The reason it was setup with merge replication was because if serverA goes down, B can be brought online as the primary and then as soon as serverA is rebuilt it will start syncing again.I want to change this method (as there are numerous conflicts going on which i think are due to the application design) to transactional replication and am fine doing that. If my serverA went down i would bring serverB online but after building serverA again what method would you use to get the data up to date on serverA? I have around 10hours downtime overnight so could potentially do a backup/restore. Any feedback on my methods would be very appreciated.John |

Not much options other than backup/restore then reset replication. If you can keep server b as primary, will be easier. |
