You can save it as a vb scriptor this will script the package http://www.nigelrivett.net/DTS/ScriptDTSProperties.html==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

ok i can get the vb file, but how can i reload the file into sqlserver?? by the way am doing all this to get a dts packages which take the server and the database name and ather parameter(from a database table) and automatically create packages for each row in the table???MobashA |

You can open the file in em and save the package to sql server again. |

?????????? no i dont want to do it using GUI i wnat it code< buy the way if u save the fikle as vb the are same references u should add in the visual basic so u can run the file any way i may create my owne form which ask the user to supply some variables and create the apropriate packageMobashA |
