| I can't get the DTS Package window in EM to display anything, the tool panel or the diagram. I've tried creating packages with the Import wizard or directly in EM by right-clicking over the Data Transformation Services node and selecting New Package. I always get a completely blank DTS Package window.I ran SP4 several times on this PC, always with same results.EM's Help>About says version 8.0. MMC version is Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 : Service Pack 2).QA's Help>About reports 8.00.2039. SELECT @@VERSION returns "Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.2039 (Intel X86) May 3 2005 23:18:38 Copyright (c) 1988-2003 Microsoft Corporation Developer Edition on Windows NT 5.1 (Build 2600: Service Pack 2) ".I suspect that EM isn't getting updated by SP4 for some reason. I stopped all SQL-related programs (in fact all programs) and all SQL-related services before running SP4.Any ideas what to try next? |
