Hi, I am new to this.
I've been trying Im/Ex DTS Wizard the whole day today to move a whole database(tables, views and stored procedures) from one database server - discountasp.net - to another dabase server - webhost4life - I rent on the net. But no success.

The errors are different everytime. such as:
- can't connect to the server (either one of them or both...): I am much very sure the server is there, and I've been connecting them.
- Usernames are invalid: this is ridiculous, I've used my usernames for years, and now DTS says that it's invalid.
- Can't create connection....

Basically, I just can't success moving the data, and it gives me different errors everytime. This drives me crazy....

Please, please, please help me through this...:(
I feel like hopeless now...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Joey

If the ultimate goal is to copy the entire Database and that will be a one time process, why not copy the MDF and the LDF files to the destination Server and attach the DB there. I know in past DTS behaving crazy on a slow link.

Thanks
