Amy writes "I've successfully used a BULK INSERT to add 1000 records to my table. When I go into the table I can see the data.

When I create a simple query in the studio, it cannot find the data. It states it is successful, but that zero rows are affected. Even though I know that there is at least one row containing the data.

It's a simple statement like:
SELECT LastName, ClubCode FROM Members WHERE LastName = 'SMITH'

I am using SQL Server 2005 with no previous installation of 2000.

I just don't know where to look. I have researched for a few hours and tried different ways to query; even different columns. No data is ever found.

Any ideas? Was there something I was supposed to do after the bulk insert?

Thanks for any help you can provide."

I think there is nothing wrong with the query...just you are looking at the wrong location..may be wrong database
