| Dora writes "I have a production database which has about 200 tables. I need to create a read-only server so that the load on the server is shared between the two servers. This report server should be up to date with the production server and we cannot drop connections on the report server to restore the backups. so logshipping is not a solution for me. Is there any other solution possible ? Thank you very much in advance." |

| Hmm. Well if you wait until the next version then you can restore whilst a database is online I believe. Until then, maybe you could look at replication.-------Moo. :) |
