| Danny writes "I'm looking for a nice GUI to manage MSDE. There's plenty out there it seems, but my critical need is to be able to create & run DTS jobs.If I could get something as easy as the Enterprise Manager DTS wizard it would be great! I basically need to import data into my MSDE database with Source being an ODBC system DSN pointing to a proprietary database from another application. This will get the data out of that and into SQL. Because all the databases are local to a single workstation, I certainly don't need SQL Server - MSDE does me nicely & has all the features I need except for this requirement of a DTS designer!I could install SQL Client Tools but then is there a licencing issue? When I try, it wants me to enter in the CD key. Can you steer me in the right direction? cheersDanny" |
