| I have a DTS Package I use for copying data from different database to the one I use..I have made changes in the package few time..Now the size of the package is BIG....We have s/w for version control.Is there any way to REDUCE/Shrink the DTS PAckages???or I have to use the old tech. SAVE AS and save it as new name delete old one and save this again with the real name?TIA |

| If you right-click on a DTS package in SQL Server, and choose the Versions option, you can delete older versions of the package. |

My packages are not SQL Server local packages. they are structured storage files. |
