I have a DTS Package I use for copying data from different database to the one I use..
I have made changes in the package few time..

Now the size of the package is BIG....
We have s/w for version control.

Is there any way to REDUCE/Shrink the DTS PAckages???
or I have to use the old tech. SAVE AS and save it as new name delete old one and save this again with the real name?

TIA

If you right-click on a DTS package in SQL Server, and choose the Versions option, you can delete older versions of the package.

My packages are not SQL Server local packages. they are structured storage files.
