| I am having an issue with a DTS Package that runs when I execute it just fine. However when I schedule this package to run automatically, it says it completed but it only puts a partial file out on the destination drive and then locks the text file. It states "The file is locked by another process"I am using SQL Server 7 currently and have no other issues with any other automated DTS packages. The DTS Package itself is pretty simple, it does an SQL query to retreive data from a View. It then populates this data in a comma delimited format to a text file. I have tried placing the text file on the local box as well as on a remote machine. The SQLServerAgent and MSSQLServer services are NT Auth Account login, and the account they use is a Domain Admin so permissions should not be an issue. There is plenty of space where the files are destined to go, and I can run it manual just fine and put the files out there. However when it runs automatically the only way to clear the files is to reboot the SQL Server machine.I'm stumped as to why this is happening and I searched the forums but couldn't find anything related.Any help is appreciated. |

| I have determined it is a issue with the amount of data I am attempting to Export.I set it to Select TOP 10000 it runs fine. It is gathering 46171 Rows with Select *Is there a way to limit this to doing it 10000 rows at a time? |
