| Thanks for the answer, but exists a huge heap of the applications of a database, working with such structure, it is simply impossible all to alter. Really there is no opportunity to publish a database without change of its structure? |

| Actually there is a technological process having more of 500 parameters, all of them are written in a database and to change structure of the tables there is no opportunity. The experts, will respond, help me please. |

| The experts have already responded. If the limit is 255 then you have to reduce the number of columns you're trying to replicate. If you can't redesign your table(s) then you're SOL. |

| To give SHU the benefit of the doubt, it is possible to have a 255 column table that is in 5NF. I haven't seen any myself, but that doesn't mean much..Your only chance is to break the table apart and then create a view that resolves to the original table...Anybody know if this limit still applies in Yukon/2005?DavidMA front-end is something that tries to violate a back-end. |
