Hi everyone ....

I'm a grad student @ LSU-Shreveport. Part of my requirements is to maintain a distribution group much like this one. A member posted a question which I haven't found an answer to, and I was hoping that some DBA/GURU could help me out with:

How does the merge agent decide which data is the most accurate/up-to-date? I'm thinking something along the lines of a timestamp field, maybe in conjunction with a transaction log.

Thanx in advance

- James

I tink that's what your question is about.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
