| I've got a MSSQL7 installation on an old server that I'd like to retire. The db was used exclusively for O'Reilly's old forum software, WebBoard.I'd like to keep the forum's messages, accessable on a new web server, but I don't necessarily need them in a db format. I don't want to install MSSQL7 on the new server. The new server is running mySQL.I was thinking a good solution would be to export all the message threads to HTML. There are probably 3000 threads. I suppose it might be better to actually import them to mySQL since then it would be easier to manage them.I know just enough SQL to integrate Access db's into ASP web sites, so I'll need help with this. Is this site a good place to start?Tim Tyler1.360.539.5294 |
