Freaked me out...2000 accepts 7.0 format cards in a bcp?

Seems to be working...is it backward compatible?

Or am I setting myself up?

Any comments appreciated.

Thanks.

I'd expect it to be backward compatible to at least 7.0

It's when you move to Yukon and it suddenly stops working...

Thanks Rick...

But the why bother with a 8.0 card and collation?

Especially with CHAR data types?

In DB2 a card is a card....(format card...ie format file....)
