pradeep writes "I am using Bulk Insert to copy data from a CSV file to a SQL server 2000 table. The CSV file contains 7 fields and the target table contains 8 fields one of which is Computed columns. I would like to know whether it is possible to copy only selected columns"

Yes, you can use a bcp format file. Books Online has an example of doing exactly what you're looking for, under "bcp utility, format files". Once you create the format file you can specify it in the WITH (FORMATFILE='filename') clause.
