| Hi,I have to set up this replication scheme and I'm fairly new to administering SQL server. Was wondering if anyone can give me some good ideas on how to do this.The Facts:1. Database1 and Database2 on the same Sql ServerWhat I need to do:1. Everynight, any data that has been updated/deleted/inserted from specific rows of several tables in Database1, the changes must be reflected in Database2.Thanks |

| As far as I know, you can go for Snapshot Replication model since you are replicating once in a day. Still it depends on how much data you are replicating per day. Snapshot replication is advised to use on small amount of data and also the data is mostly static.If your data is huge and the amount of time for replication should be less you can for Transactional Replication.Please check BOL for more details on topic: Introducing the Types of Replication.Sekar~~~~Success is not a destination that you ever reach.
