| Hi,Has anybody come accross this problem before, or have any advice on how resolve the issue.I have a Windows 2000 Workstation with SQL Server 2000 installed. The Workstation sits on a Novell Network I am trying to run a DTS Package that exports some data to an instance of SQL Server 2000 run by our Internet Service Provider. The problem I get is that I cannot connect to the ISP's instance of SQL Server, I always get the standard SQL Server can not be found or access denied message. I have tried from Query Analyser and get the same error.I have tried from my PC at home and all works fine (Win2K workstation over Microsoft's Internet Connection Sharing). The PC on the Novel Network has nothing else running on it that could get in the way so I can only presume that it is a Novel Issue.I can ftp from the machine to the web site.Anybody have any ideas?? Your help will be very gratefully received. |
