as my subject, in dts, there is feature that we can produce bas file. what is purpose that file? thanks |

The .bas file contains Visual Basic code that defines the DTS package. It's a way to export a package so you can import it to another server or use it in another application. I've never tried the latter but I know people who have done it, although the code might need modification.DTS has its own object model and is documented in SQL Server Books Online if you want more detail about it. |
