Why do you keep asking the same questino over and over again? http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=29010http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=29028http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=29011I really don't think that you are going about this the correct way. I don't think that you should be using DTS for this. If you explain what the requirement is, we might be able to help you come up with a better solution.Tara

the 3 posts aren't equal, only two of them are equal, soi think you should focus on the solution , and discuss the central point of my post'sthanksnote: If this is the DTS forum Area, why are you question about the power of DTs's and advising me not to use DTS?!!!

Because DTS should be used sparingly. Just because this option is available, doesn't mean that you should use it. Cursors are available in SQL Server, but you shouldn't use them.Tara
