Jeff writes "Hello,I am using sql-2k, I have a table called sales. Once a day I get a csv file for all sales from the last 30 days from another system. I need to import this file into the table. That part is easy. My problem is the file today has 10 records and the file tomorrow has the original 10 plus 2 new ones. I only want the new records added into the table. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated. ThanksJeff"

Hello Jeff!Your best bet would be to use the other systems primary key (if there is one) to keep track of the rows. Or maybe there is some other combination of columns which is unique? Otherwise you are in trouble...

If you could provide a sample of the data, it may be helpful in guiding you to a solution.
