| In SQL 7.0, we copy tables through a proprietary ODBC into SQL server and then copy them to another SQL server. The first step is to truncate the tables and then import the data. If the job fails, such as source server is unavailable, the tables are already truncated. Can I put a rollback transaction as a DTS step on failure and what would the syntax be? (Someone will probably suggest replication between SQL servers which we have had poor luck with.) Thanks. |
