| I have a Production and Beta environment with replication between various user databases set up in each.I restored my production backups into my beta environment in order to "re-sync" some data and objects. This action has invalidated my replication in the beta environment. As a result, I disabled replication in Beta and rebuilt it from scratch. Is there an easier way?Jay White{0} |

| I do not believe that there is an easier way. I have worked very little with replication, but another DBA here has worked with it a lot. He always rebuilds replication from scratch when the replication is "invalidated". That's not to say that this is the correct way, but given what I know about this DBAs knowledge, I would say that it probably is the correct way and maybe the easiest if not only way.Tara |
