hi, i need to write a stored procedure which actually transfers data from a table in a MS access Database to a table in SQL server.
Request to help me out.
I am new to writing stred procedures
Done enough of digging google but no solution

You can use DTS packages. Did you try it?

In DTS setup a connection and an Access source. Connect them with a data transform task which will bring the access data into sql. Then setup an ExecuteSQL task which executes your stored proc. Connect the connection to the ExecSQL task with a success connection. If you can execute the dts from a job step or from a DTSRUN o/s command.
