I tried to create a new DTS package on my development server(via Enterprise Manager) and I received an error message saying that it could not find mdt2fw.dllI checked my production server (which does not have the DTS problem) and I copied this .dll from prod to dev in the appropriate folder. Now when I try to create a new package I get the DTS designer window but it remains blank for about 5 minutes and then Enterprise Manager closes. Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this?I am getting to the point were I will remove and re-install SQL Server but I really don't want to have to do that. Thanks everyone!Ric

SQL server .... 7? 2000? and more importantly what version was installed. I got a desktop version installed on a machine that actually doesn't have DTS features installed on it. If you think it should have DTS working, backup the data, reinstall and restore.-----------------------Take my advice, I dare ya

It is SQL 7, Enterprise. It was working a few weeks ago. I thought about removing SQL and then re-installing but I was hoping there was a less drastic option.

If your missing dll's like that you'd probably be best to install.. Something isn't right there. Hell... Look for possible viruses or hard drive corruption too. Might be best just to blow away everything on the drive and rebuild.-----------------------Take my advice, I dare ya
