Hi,I was setting up logshipping between sql 2000 on win 2003 server. I could able to setup logship for small Databases i.e. size around 500 MB, where as when I try for the big Database above 5-10 gb I was getting the below error :"Error 0: ConnectionRead(recv()). General network error. Check your network documentation."no errors reported in eventlog or server log, but I noticed the initial back up is copied to the secondary and the database is in loading stage. Can any one extend any help, Please.Nanda |

I have this same issue. What we do to get around this is we setup the secondary database in standby mode, run through the LS wizard, then when it asks for the secondary database information, tell it that it has already been created. This is actually faster to setup once you get the hang of it.Tara KizerMicrosoft MVP for Windows Server System - SQL Serverhttp://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
