Hi

In one of our DTS package, Data is being dumped to text files which is in UNICODE file type.

Can you please give me the difference between UNICODE and ANSI File types.

unicode is designed to handle "non-english" alphabets...like japanese, chinese, etc...ansi headed to support the english alphabet set...A-Z...etc

do a google on unicode and follow some definitions.
