I'm getting failure of distributor and log reader jobs due to network latency that exists when I'm running dbcc reindex againsta very large (90 mill rows) table.Message is 'time afte 10 retry attempts'Is this the polling interval???and If I create a new agent profile do i have to stop syncronizing, make change, and then start syncronizing again??thanks much |

If you create new profile you have stop and restart the agents to take effect...Your may be related to blocking...when you do reindexing table will not be available for the user...Better approach will be add another job schedule the agent, if it fails...schedule will start the job....MohammedU |
