I understand you must use Microsoft query to get info from a SQL database into Excel. I'm very new to this.
Can anyone explain this to me?

I do have some documentation of what the last guy did, but doesnt make any sense.

Let me try to explain:
On our intranet we have a .net2.0 survey form that sends form output to a SQL database. We also have a Excel spreadsheet whose cells are connected to this SQL database and updates info on the spreadsheet.

Some of the cells are not updating and I need to be able to reconnect and/or setup the correct queries.
