I am testing a scheduled package that I created and cannot get it to run via the scheduler. I can manually execute it and runs fine. I've doubled checked to verify that SQL Agent is running...it is.I believe the problem is related to ownership and roles.I'm connecting to the server remotely and my login has system administrator role priviledges.when I create the dts package, it lists the owner as my windows login. Are there other things I should check to isolate why the package won't run from the scheduler? Thanks for any help. |

When a DTS package runs via a job, it uses the MSSQLSERVER service account. To see what is going on, log in directly to the database server using this service account, then run the package.Tara Kizer |
