| Hi, my name is Ricardo, and i have this problem:i have i cycling jog, thats means, the last step check some date range and if in the range move the dates and go again to the first step. Its running very well and there is not endeless cycle.but sometime in a diferent step, each step have a DTS doing some stuff, the job still running but is not, beacuse de CPU is not doing anything and the job keeps showing the step where it is, an never move one.if i stop the job and refresh service or download the SQLserver Process, and traing again to run the job, its run perfect. |

| I don't think you've provided enough information for us to help much. One thing you should do is (from within the all the code that is doing the actual work) log the progress to a table or file. Log things like record counts, current time, the action that just occured, error status, file sizes etc. Any of the details pertenant to what your doing. Then, when the problem happens you'll know the last successfull thing that occured as well as enough details to figure our why the problem is occuring.Be One with the OptimizerTG |
