| hello all thanks in advance for the helpSQL Server 2000, Xp ProI was wondering if there is a way to load multiple text files into the same table, all the txt files are formatted the same way, they are in sequence, ie. data1.txt, data2.txt, data3.txt.... I have a few hundred to load, and doing it one by one with DTS is just too slow. thanks againjust for the record, if you havent already picked up on this I am very new to SQL Server 2000 |

| You can concatenate these files via a cmd window:type *.* >C:\SomeFile.txtJust make sure to navigate to a folder where only these files exist. Now just import the data from C:\SomeFile.Txt.Tara |
