Vivek writes "Hello,

In one of the projects, we are using Merge Replication on SQL Server. We have one server at birsbane and other at melbourne.
Data gets merged between these 2 server after every 5 hrs thru replication. Now, we have ISDN set up at client end, and
during replication if the connection breaks, melbourne pushes its data into Brisbane and wipe off the updated data of brisbane.
Note that, here melbourne server is acting as publisher.

Please advice.

Thanks,
Vivek"

1. You have to manage the conflicts properly
2. You can use continous replication
3. Replication will not delete the records unless there some missmatch with initial snapshot
4. You can also configure one way replication
