| I have many many DTS packages - each with a target and source connection. But I dont want to keep specifying the connection parameters for each package. When I change from the Dev to the Live environment, these two connection strings will be different. So I really need a global way of setting the source and destination connection properties. How can I do that? |

| look into using dynamic properties and global variables. you might want to google on those terms and check some of the articles you find.btw, www.sqldts.com is a really good DTS resource to use and they have many examples.-ec |
