Hi,

I would like to know how to Import/Export DTS Package.
I have already created some DTS package with DTS Designer, I have save them into files named MyDTS.dts
But I cannot find how to import them into another SQL Server.
I am using SQL Server 2000 on windows 2000/XP

Thanks in advance

Bye............Rémi.
PS : I'm sorry for my poor English.

I don't know about Importing, but if you have both servers listed in Enterprise Manager you move the package from one server to another by:

Right click on the package and select "Design Package"
Select Package->Save As
Change the referenced server and click save

You will probably have to refresh the view beofre you'll see the package on the new server.

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot, but I cannot use your solution because I cannot put the two servers on the same Enterprise Manager.

In order to import the dts package all you have to do is save it to a location you can get to. Then open Enterprise Manager and go to Data Transformation Services folder in the tree. Right click it and select Open Package. That should open the package you had saved and then simply do a save as but this time use SQL Server and storage!
Hope that helps!
