| i want to import database which is online.i have the sql server trail.the details are:Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;Password=ghyy2;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=matchi2_y;Initial Catalog=matchi2_p;DataSource=mssql2.alsonetworks.biz"(server address is 69.28.81.253)off course the values r false....do not try ...(i know about bcp and dts but i tried unsuccessfully)thanksavi |

| just if you want to try:1. backup the database2. copy the backup3. restore to targetelse, you could provide details on why bcp and dts failed, someone here might be able to help you.--------------------keeping it simple... |
