Hi,

I'm new to creating DTS packages, so I don't know how to do this, if it's possible.

I'm importing data from an access table to a sql table. That part works just fine, but this will be run on a regular basis and I'll need to import only the data that doesn't already exist in the sql table.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,
Kim

Why not just use an INSERT statement with a correlated subquery checking for existance against a linked server (Access)?

See - I knew I came to the right place to ask that question.

The linked server way works great - thank you Jay!

I'd lose DTS and do it this way
