| Hey all...I am trying to import all my access tables into sql server... While using the data import wizard I am getting a "DB_TYPE DBTIMESTAMP Data Overflow invalid character set" errorI know this is all to do with the way that the dates are formatted but even changing the tables directly and then re-running the package is yeilding no results... Has anyone else had this problem before and knows of a work around? Thanks for your help.Pace |

| Pace, DBTYPE_DBTIMESTAMP should be mapping to a datetime field type in the destination table. From BOL, the limits on datetime are the range:"Date and time data from January 1, 1753 through December 31, 9999".Any dates outside that range?---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Infoneering: Information Technology solutions engineered to professional standards. |
