Hi, I am trying to DTS foxpro file to SQL server thru dBase ODBC connection. I am getting Microsoft Jet database engine error. External file is not in expected format. If I use foxpro connection I am getting invalid status for data bound error. Any help on this very much appreciated.thanks

If you have Foxpro installed on your machine open the dbase file in foxpro and type this in the command window.copy to newtablename foxpluswhere ever the file is located is where the newtablename will be placed. Try importing the new dbase file.Al

Open the foxpro file in VS and save it as a Dbase2x file, then try to reimport it.Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful. --Buddha
