| Mark writes "I need to replicate data from measuring instruments that can be affected by external elements creating data spikes and noise. Is there a way of testing the incoming data against previous entries to establish the viability of the data and to transform the data during replication to affect data smoothing. I am considering using DTS withing transactional replication, but I don't yet know how to implement DTS from within transactional replication. Any help would be much appreciated." |

| why do you need dts in replication? it sounds redundant. you use replication to copy data which is the same logic as dts.--------------------keeping it simple... |
