My DTS package has 2 tasks: (1) exports data to an Excel file and (2) an Execute SQL Task that runs an xp_cmdshell to copy the Excel file into another Excel file with a different name. The problem is that task #2 seems to run before task #1. I've used the workflow precedence On Success and On Completion and both produced the same result.You help is greatly appreciated... THANKS . |

| I resolved the problem by deleting task #2 and making a separate job just for it. I'm sure that there's a way to make it work in the same job but in the interest of time this is the only solution I can come up with. |
