Hi,

I am using merge replication in sql server professional edition.
While creating a snapshot at the subscripber i get the following error details of the Merge Agent.

Error Message: The process could not deliver the snapshot to the Subscriber.

(Source: Merge Replication Provider (Agent); Error number: -2147201001)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The process could not bulk copy into table '"dbo"."TradesCNSE"'.

Received invalid column length from bcp client.

I would be very thankful for an early reply as the replication is to be done very urgently.

Thanks and regards

Do you have data that will not fit in the destination table?

it seems you have connection problem.

are you just beginnning to set up the merge or was it working before?
if beginnning...
check if the sql service account is set to a domain account (not local system)
check if you have the correct passwords set for your subscribers in your publisher
