Author  Topic  dairec Starting Member 16 Posts Posted - 2006-10-12 : 11:33:02 Hi there, I have a SQL2k server running on a WindowsNT 4.0 machine on one domain and a WinXP developer workstation on another domain. When I try to run a DTS package transaction support on the server from the workstation I get the following error for my Data Pump task: "Transaction context in use by another session" The task is a data transformation from an Excel file to a database. DTC is running on both the workstation and the server and I have enabled Network DTC Access with Allow Outbound and No Authentication Required under the MSDTC Security Configuration on the client. When I run the same package on a different server within the same domain as the workstation it works fine. Any ideas? Daire Cunningham
