| scene...hp3000 miniframe slated for (ahem) *recycling* (probably into beer cans), we currently pull data from this thing into flat files on a server, then into sql server from there.now data is data, ascii is ascii, so i asked (dopey me) if it was possible to pull directly from the hp and bypass the manual running of programs on the hp (raise your hoof if you know the difference between programs and software).i am looking for a "connection string" or other method to attach a DTS package or service directly to the hp3000.as usual any help appreciated.When i'm right, no one remembers, when i'm wrong no one forgets. |
