Hi all,
I've created a DTS package to loop thru a table to..
1. Get the server name from the table (with, say, 4 records).
2. Use Dynamic properties task to change the connection object to the server name extracted in step 1
3. Execute an SQL on that server
4. Loop back to step 1 until the end of table (4 times).

All seem to work good, except, the sql in step 3 is executed 4 times on the server extracted from the first record of the table.

This is heppening because, once the server connection is established, DTS keeps the connection open for re-use. Even if the connection properties are changed dinamically, they would not take effect until the connection is closed and re-opened.

That said!!..How do I do that? I know DTS in SQL 7.0 used to have an option (a check box, if I remember) to close the connection as soon as it is done with it. I just can't seem to find that option in SQL 2000.

Can anyone help me find it.

TIA..
