| We were finally able to upgrade to SQL Server 2000. I use a lot of BCP commands in some batch schedules. I was getting some ODBC errors, so I attempted to use the DTS, which I've never used before. Now I'm getting a data conversion error. I know the problem is that there is a field that can be null and is an INT. In the import file, there is nothing there and because it is a fixed width file, there are six SPACES, which are being taken as CHAR. Is there any way to convert this in a DTS package? I know we can get our upstream teams to provide a tab delimited file or do some conversion on our own through a VB Scipt, but just trying to do these quickly as there are a lot of them. If anyone knows what I need to do to the format file for BCP, that would work too.ThanksPanther |
