Larry writes "Hi,

The question on the surface seems somewhat simple. Write some literal values and add the date to it. The timing and location is the tricky part.

I want to add this information as a header row to a text file as part of a DTS package.

I'm currently using an ActiveX Script task to rename the file with today's date. But as the DTS package runs, I want to first write a line of infomation to the text file, then export the table.

This is part of a daily routine.

Any thoughts?

Larry"
