Many of the databases on the cluster use merge replication with other machines that are accessed across a VPN. The copy of SQL running on the cluster is the distributor and the publisher. The machines in the cluster are getting old and weak, so we are planning to replace them. I am concerned about how we migrate the distributor and publisher "roles" to a new machine. Has anyone done this before? We really don't want to have to send a snapshot down to the replication parters to get things going--the VPN isn't that fast. Any experience you have is appreciated. Pat
