Author  Topic  graza1 Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2011-07-26 : 00:25:34 Dear All, We have installed SQL 2000 database in our three offices located in different cities with deployed Merge Replication with a backup SQL Server one at each location with third party folder replication application for Backup Server Only. Everything is working fine except backup servers part when main server goes down to get backup server to production which inclued renaming and ip chaning takes almost 30 to 40 minutes to come online. The only thing i want to know for backup servers only, Can we make it could be replicated with SQL Server 2000 replication topology at each location so failover time could be reduce. CURRENT SCNEARIO FACTORY OFFICE (A) ============== SQL 2000 with Distributer and Publisher role Backup Server with third party folders replication HO OFFICE (B) ============== SQL 2000 with subscriber role Backup Server with third party folders replication MARKETING AND BOOKING OFFICE (C) ============================ SQL 2000 with subscriber role Backup Server with third party folders replication Help is always appreciated.
