Domenick writes "I'm having a problem with a back end update for our web site, which we recently brought inhouse.
Tech details:Win2K server SP2/SQL2000 server.
An error occurs when an upload is submitted:
Error Type:
Server object, ASP 0177 (0x800401F3)
Invalid ProgID. For additional information specific to this message please visit the Microsoft Online Support site located at: http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp.
/semadmin/PR/upload.asp, line 10

Browser Type:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT 5.0)

Page:
POST 964 bytes to /semadmin/PR/upload.asp

Line 10 in code=Set Upload = Server.CreateObject("Persits.Upload.1")

Relevant MS Support docs Q258932, Q194801 and Q242550 have been reviewed and whatever could be tried has been. I have not been able to resolve the issue, though. According to Q194801, there should be a registry entry for Persists.Upload.1, but there isn't one. Which prevents me from further troubleshooting. Would you have any suggestions?
Please advise.
