| Our client has an Oracle Database that they want converted into a SQL Server Database. The database has about 100 tables and 100 stored procedures. So the question is, what tools does SQL Server provide for doing this? Are their third party tools capable of doing this.We own Rational Rose and ERWin. We figure we could pretty easily reverse engineer the Schema from Oracle and then forward engineer it to SQL Server. The data import also shouldn't be too difficult. What I don't have a feel for is Stored Procedures. Are the any automated ways of converting these? How much manual effort would be involved generally? Thanks,David O'Learydavid.oleary@habanero.com |
